Snr Financial Services Consultant
Our client is a uniquely industry-focused business unit that provides a broad range of interfrated services to financial institutions and other Capital Markets participants, including retail and mortgage banking, commercial banks, investment banks, broker-dealers, asset managers (traditional and alternative), insurance and energy trading companies, and other organizations.
Their broader Solutions Enablement group focuses on connecting business and technology in order to provide solutions to improve client's technology architecture and systems and address complex issues around regulatory and accounting change implementation, enterprise information management, liquidity management, mergers and acquisitions, and IT strategy and performance.
Within Solutions Enablement, the Capital Markets team assists our clients in doing implementations and roll outs of trading and risk systems for processing fixed income and derivatives in the front office, middle office and back office including accounting and reporting
Responsibilities:
Advise clients on a variety of business process services that help identify, assess, manage and measure the organization's capabilities. Use business process, organizational and technology capabilities and knowledge across several of the following focus areas:
- Front Office, Middle Office and Back Office trade flow, Data flow and Business process
- Pre-Trade Analytics, Desk or book level stress testing
- Trade Entry, Order Management, Trade Execution
- Trade Enrichment, Affirmation and Confirmation
- Netting, Settlement, Posting
- Team with client technology professionals, and/or third-party strategic alliances to provide implementation of technology solutions. Participate in engagement management, engagement execution and reporting, and client relationship building and management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and approximately 8 years of related work experience; or a Master's degree and approximately 7 years of related work experience
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience working at a financial services company or comparable experience working as an advisor to a financial services company
- Experience within any of the following :
- OTC Derivatives Reform
- Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Accounting
- Valuation and Pricing
