Harrington Starr is working exclusively with a trading platform technology company to find a Senior Java Developer that will join their elite development team, which provide highly efficient solutions to clients trading in nearly every economic market around the world.

As the Senior Java Developer you will be developing sophisticated Java solutions for financial services institutions, capable of providing real-time management information on colossal amounts of data across global exchanges at all stages of the trade life cycle. You will work within a growing development team that has the intention to double in size within the next 12 months due to the substantial amount of pipeline and prototype greenfield projects to be created in agile full project life cycle method. Using your knowledge of low level heavily multi-threaded java coding you will build resilient and efficient coding.

Key requirements:

* 3+ Years Core Java development commercial experience (Essential)
* Excellent multi-threading or concurrent programming experience (Essential)
* Excellent communication and relationship building skills (Beneficial)
* Spring, Hibernate, Wicket, HTML, XML (Beneficial)
* Degree level education in Mathematical or Computer science related discipline (Beneficial)
* Proactive and commercially aware nature (Required)
