Harrington Starr has partnered with a Global Brokerage/Exchange to find a Senior Java Integration Engineer with specialist latency experience to join the integration team that manage the connectivity of systems with information providers, buy-side and sell-side institutions and other exchanges as well as various internal platforms.
As the Senior Java Integration Engineer you will be using your low latency performance experience to analyse and improve platforms and connections. You will use your deep understanding of multi-threaded core Java systems to developer a multitude of various pipelined greenfield projects whilst working closely with the technology and integration team in an agile methodology. You will become primarily responsible for this system and will need to build low-latency management/monitoring tools in Java in order to main the optimum latency. You will need a strong understanding of FIX/FAST messaging and will need to be able to develop in highly multi-threaded Java with a strong grasp of concurrency
Key requirements:
- Strong Multi-threaded Core Java Development experience (Essential)
- FIX/FAST Connectivity experience (Required)
- Extensive knowledge of Latency monitoring or management technology (Essential)
- Knowledge of java messaging systems, Tibco RV/EMS (Required)
