High calibre, senior sales specialist with a strong track record of revenue generation within the asset management marketplace sought by this prestigious global house. The ideal individual will demonstrate strong knowledge of the full range of asset management products and solutions, which will be complemented by superior presentation and communication skills and a strong client focus.
The role will involve developing new business and cross-selling to the firm’s existing institutional client base. Specific emphasis is on selling to UK Pension Funds and previous experience of this sector is pre-requisite. Experience of also selling to corporates and other institutional clients, to include insurance companies will be a definite advantage.
The preferred candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the asset management space and will have a relevant professional qualification (IMC/CFA), together with a good knowledge of industry trends and the regulatory environment.
Applications will be welcomed from commercially-focussed individuals with a high level of business acumen, superior client focus and the ability to define sales strategies taking into account competitor activity, market trends and regulatory developments. The proven ability to build and develop excellent working relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders is essential. Preference is for candidates with specific asset management experience, although those with sales experience gained from consultancy will also be considered.
