Job Description
Serve as the 'go-to' contact for any new tool, architecture and/or monitoring needs arising from various business functions.
Key Roles Responsibilities
- Lead the BMC core tool - Fit for purpose initiatives
- Define Standards of Monitoring
- Review existing configurations and ensure standard implementations across all monitoring scope
- Define tools strategy, assist in evaluating various tools and making recommendations to align with groups enterprise management strategic intent
- Position best in class solution for each horizontal and ensure consistency across business functions
- Define Integration approach for various monitoring tools in the production environment
- Define end-end monitoring approach and solutions
- Provide creative solutions and direction on critical interfaces with the core monitoring solution
Measure of Success:
- Standardisation of monitoring parameters, business engagement models
- Define SOP for monitoring controls
- Business satisfaction and proactive effectiveness
- Maximise core tool usage and penetrations
- Dashboards for service monitoring
- Industry best practices
Qualifications Skills
- Extensive experience with Enterprise Management Solutions
- Broad exposure around various enterprise systems management tools
- Experience in implementing and recommending enterprise monitoring tools
- Preferably having background with top financial institutions/banks
- Able to compare, make recommendations around various tools ensuring alignment with the bank's strategy
- Strong multi-cultural exposure
- Must have deep knowledge of various Tier 1 ESM products developed by - BMC, HP, IBM, CA and also good knowledge from Tier 2 products/organisations
