Snr Testing Analyst recruitment
Key Responsibilities:
The role will include, but not limited to the following
• Assist in defining and implementing process and practices for Test Governance with FX Essential Services
• Coach project teams on Testing best practice throughout the lifecycle
• Foster a spirit of innovation and collaboration in regards to Testing
• Collaborate and partner closely with program managers, development leads, test leads and production support teams to ensure that software is tested to highest quality.
Key Relationships:
• Partner with technology teams across FXLM and the wider Citi technology group to drive quality across the software development life cycle.
Skills
Knowledge/Experience:
• Demonstratable work experience in Testing, ideally working in a split site environment.
• Strong background in leading functional and/ or non functional testing for enterprise applications following iterative and agile methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of full software development and testing lifecycle.
• Experience in writing range of Test artifacts; Test Plan, Test Cases, Test Reports etc...
• Understanding of financial market concepts would be advantageous.
Competencies:
• Knowledge of industry standard Testing tools.
• Experienced in working on multiple releases in parallel
• Self motivated individual and creative thinker who will take ownership and accountability.
• Thorough knowledge of Testing lifecycle and methodologies.
• Flexible, hands-on 'doer', able to cope with changing requirements / time constraints Qualifications: • B.Sc. in Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Skills:
Technical:
• Knowledge of industry standard functional/ non functional testing tools e.g. QTP, Watir, Selenium, LoadRunner, etc...
• Intermediate level programming skills e.g. VBScript, Java, C / C++
• Intermediate level SQL skills
• Basic UNIX / Linux skills
Personal:
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A self-starter who can deliver well as part of a team
• Ability to work under pressure during tight dead lines
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
