Social Game Designer
We are in search of an outstanding Social Game Designer to work on thrilling new Facebook games. This is a full time position.
You know how important it is to design a monetization strategy into your game from the start. You know what a viral coefficient is how to handle it. You recognize the concept of Minimum Viable Product that analytical data is the new king of game design.
Summary:
- Organize game ideas for internal/company or external/partner pitches
- Recognize all analytic data to be followed, analyze act on data collected - "Design by Analytics"
- Frequently cooperate with Monetization Analytics teams to capitalize on the financial triumph of your games
- Balance game variables
- Review game builds, send feedback to the team
- Partake in regular team meetings
- Design revise XML /or Excel game data files
- Motivate the team
- Design games around partner IP, study know the brand
- Conceptualize extremely fun, unique game ideas that are social, viral, easy to monetize
- Balance game economies (both hard soft currencies)
- Design game content content strategy
- Manage weekly updates (once project has begun)
- Plan future phases (once project has begun)
- Clearly communicate your ideas to the production team through well written game design documents
- Express great ideas
- Share vital learnings strategies with other game designers employees
- Set viral coefficient, player retention, monetization goals implement strategies to enhance them
Qualifications:
- Three plus years as a game designer (social game design favored)
- QA/testing
- Game balancing
- XML Excel experience
- Creating game design documents
- Level editors
- Pitching game ideas
- You are truthful honest, but have act
- Multiplayer Games, Social Gaming, Casual Gaming, Online Gaming
- Concepting fun, unique game ideas/mechanics
- Agile Development (favored)
- Game economy balancing (desired)
