Client Facing Technology is a horizontal division in Group Technology that services all the business units within UBS with their Client Facing Technology needs. This division delivers platform level services for client interaction that can be reused across lines of business.

UBS Connections is a social media platform (based on the Jivesoftware) that is being rolled out by Client Facing Technology. This platform is initially available to employees only. The UBS Connections team is responsible for all aspects of this platform from strategy, user engagement and deployment, technical deployment and product roadmap and upgrades. The team is currently split between London and Zurich.

Within the UBS Connections team you will be required to support business demand of use case adoption and also the overall strategy of converging social media projects within the Online Media space of Client Facing Technology. You will be expected to be versatile and perform the following for a number of different business stakeholders:

• Define and implement a user engagement and user deployment approach for businesses looking to use UBS Connections
• Face off to business users as a Community Manager and actively contribute to and support users through the user forums on UBS Connections
• Maintain a close relationship with solutions owners in the business and the intranet gateway strategy team in Comms and Branding
• Understand the business strategy and translate impact onto a coherent social media strategy and where/how UBS Connections fits into this strategy
• Support specific business use cases where the generic instance of UBS Connections may not be appropriate but isolated instances of Jive might still be considered as a test platform
• Proactively envision the future product roadmap for Connections and solicit and sound proof ideas in the organisation
• Manage and analyse requirements for future UBS Connections releases such as UBS Connections mobile and the architecture required for changing the information level restrictions
• Working with internal stakeholders such as Risk, Marketing, legal for all proposed changes to UBS Connections
• Design and implement the UBS Connections Operating model including articulating benefit of the social media system

Requirements

You are a technologist with strong client relationship skills and have considerable experience doing business analysis and strategy for large and complex organisations.
You have:
• strong management and organizational skills, broad knowledge of the business and IT, good communication skills and the ability to communicate with senior (CIO/COO-level) stakeholders
• previous experience in working with business stakeholders to formulate and enterprise level strategy
• Strong business analysis skills and IT project management experience
• Knowledge IT governance processes
• Solid understanding of the impact of disruptive technologies and innovative ideas on organisational change
• Strong ability to abstract, capability to visualize and present/communicate at all levels
• Previous experience in implementing and deploying social media strategies and achieving user engagement

Having operated effectively in a similar environment; you have:
• Experience of building global teams
• Experience of working in a matrix organisation leveraging shared services, providing services to business IT teams, and managing multiple senior stakeholders
• Blue chip corporation experience – either in bulge bracket Financial Services and/or leading consultancy firms
• Strong emphasis on high quality, concise and accurate deliverables and communication
