Social Media Manager Job in Cork

My client is looking for a dynamic marketing professional with a background in delivering social media and online marketing as a service. The required candidate will have a passion for customer insight and service excellence for the set up, management and performance optimisation of their online social media customer engagement team. This individual will also be responsible for marketing the online/social media capability to external prospects and clients.

Role deliverables:
* Set up, implementation and management of online/social media service offering to client customers (covering Monitoring, Reporting/Insights, Service delivery, Client Advisory)
* Service innovation and development is pivotal to the role (e.g. channel expansion, tools/techniques, metrics, optimising what best practice social media means to each individual client (according to their own objectives), sourcing of partners (e.g. digital marketing agencies where required to compliment social media service delivery)
* Hire/recruitment of online/social media team as the team expands and grows
* Optimising knowledge transfer across the team, mentoring and service performance
* Delivering sales proposals for existing and new clients around our social media service offering
* Continuous innovation and always looking into new media, new channels, new ways of engaging, new social media services and marketing those out to existing and new clients
* Subject matter expert (ability to advise social media strategy at client/prospect level)
* Multi-faceted understanding of technology, governance, legal, performance management, quality management required
* Ability to work with IT/Technology team to deliver required tools/technologies to deliver best in class service
* Working with marketing team to transfer learnings, expertise and insights into social media usage
* Overseeing marketing team in the delivery of internal facebook, blogging and online social media activity.

Qualifications Training required:
* Business/Marketing Degree, proven track record of delivering social media as a service to clients (service components include monitoring, reporting, advisory, service delivery). Experience in online/digital marketing required. Accreditation in social media/digital marketing preferable.

Previous Experience required or desired:

Candidate profile: Mid Management Position with minimum of five years marketing experience with track record in digital/online and social media delivery. Passion for innovation, service excellence and translating customer insight into service improvement.
