The Social Media Specialist will lead, shape and amplify Minto's social/digital media strategy and footprint, while evaluating new and emerging digital applications, including online and Social Media channels. Collaborate with Minto businesses to manage and coordinate communities on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter; and propose creative and innovative digital communications plans for new communities and properties.
Key Responsibilities
Education: A University Degree or College Diploma in Marketing
Experience:
A minimum of three (3) years in social media marketing with advanced knowledge and understanding of social media networking platforms and monitoring suite suppliers

Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytical tools as well as reporting tools
Experience with business and strategy development
Creates and implements Minto's social media strategy;
Coordinates with stakeholders across Minto to ensure the strategy is effective and ensures the adoption of relevant social media techniques into the corporate culture and into all of Minto's platforms;
Develops the roadmap for the social media tools and directs integration on minto.com;
- Provides benchmarks and analyzes data for Minto businesses to support decision-making and enhance success of campaign and brand targets;
- Sources and manages relationships with social monitoring and platform partners;
- Researches and administers social media tools on a daily basis in support of the business social media strategy;
- Collaborates with our marketing teams to leverage platforms and stay current on relevant and developing technologies, while establishing common metrics and benchmarks to monitor social media trends;
- Acts as the advocate of social media integration within Minto, influencing overall site and business strategies;
- Liasions with the CIO team who will provide leadership and expertise on technical solutions;
- Ensures coordination and maximize business benefits and efficiencies in Minto businesses;
- Recommends on how to develop social media capabilities;
- Implements best practices and guidelines, and develops internal training tools to foster a social and digital-savvy workforce;
- Contributes to thorough leadership efforts including consulting on internal Social Media initiatives;
- Develops solutions through social media platforms with current internet marketing industry trends affecting today's customer;
- Other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, as requested by management.
