A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Software / Algorithm Engineer to join a team based in London earning a salary of £40,000 pa plus bonus and benefits. The company is a global business offering its international clients world class positioning products and technologies.
Your duties as Software / Algorithm Engineer will include:
- Designing, Developing and managing software for the CLIENT product range
- Design and implementation of complex real-time software systems for CLIENT
- Design and implementation of complex real-time GNSS Algorithms for CLIENT
- Documentation requirements, design and implementation and testing according to our established design and procedures
- Software build, configuration and release management
- Specification of software to third party software developers
The ideal Software / Algorithm Engineer will have the following skills and experiences;
- Extensive experience in software based design
- Qualification in a Software / Mathematical or Computing discipline
- Excellent communication skills
- Possess strong programming skills with experience of C, C++, C sharp and.NET (3.5)
- Version Control systems, Preferably Subversion or Cruise Control
- Preferably possess knowledge of: Satellite navigation (GPS, GLONASS), GNSS Differential Algorithms and GNSS PPP Algorithms
