Software Architect
Description Key Role: Work as an enterprise architect in support of the ARMY's I2WD division as a member of the radar applications branch's TREX delivery team. Provide strategic guidance and future vision in the development of the as-is and target state architectures for TREX. Gather requirements to support the development of the TREX architecture, analyze these requirements, and document the TREX architecture through the use of industry architecture frameworks, including the DoDAF. Work with senior SAR imagery and MTI analysts, radar technologists, and external government architects to investigate, prototype, design, recommend, and evangelize the TREX architecture. Develop technology roadmaps by working with project leaders and transition partners, outlining projected technology growth areas and technology development in support of the TREX mission. Implement portions of the TREX architecture in a high-level object-oriented programming language to provide value-added applications to the I2WD clients. Provide program briefings to the I2WD clients and external organizations on the progress or benefits of the TREX architecture.
