Currently we are seeking a Software Architect to join our Indianapolis Myers and Stauffer Team.
Job Description: The Software Architect will develop effective, scalable, distributed, high performance business applications, with preference given to N-tiered web/database applications.
Essential Functions:
· Lead a team of developers while providing guidance and mentoring to junior team members
· Coordinate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, determine needs and project scope
· Drive the direction of development for the team within guidelines set forth by Management and lead architecture
· Build pragmatic application architectures
· Perform constructive code reviews
· Provide estimates for development effort needed
· Build quality business solutions in a timely manner
· Work remotely with IT team who reside in different offices
· Manage multiple assigned tasks/projects with minimal supervision
· Additional responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent work experience
· 5+ years of comparable work experience
· Must have advanced knowledge of C# (or VB.Net), ASP.Net (preferably MVC), and SQL Server development (T-SQL and SSRS)
· Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analytical Services (SSAS), and Entity Framework desired, but not required
· Experience with user experience design using HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
