As an established and preferred supplier for more than 5 years to this successful and progressively growing company, we have been asked to assist in the recruitment of a Software Architect. The successful Software Architect will be responsible for agreeing the software architecture, identifying and optimizing code re-use, producing technical architect documents based on business and system requirements and will provide planning input into internal projects relating to development systems and processes.
This position will be based in the offices close to Southampton, with occasional travel to customer sites when required.
Key skills:
Experience in a Software Architecture / Technical Architecture role
An ability to interpret written requirements and technical specification documents
The ability to work well within a team
Experience with Linux, Perl, C++ would be advantageous
This role would suit an individual who has perhaps held one of the following roles: Software Architect, Technical Architect, Software Designer, Solutions Architect or Solutions Designer
