Software configuration Management activities. In depth knowledge of Windows OS 2003/2008 Experience in.NET Java C++ builds. Experience in writing Windows scripts of version control system such as Subversion. Experience in tools for continuous integration of builds such as Cruise Control/TeamCity. Experience of branching in source code control systems of Visual Studio the C++ compiler. Knowledge of Build scripts using Ant/Nant, Make, MSBuild. Able to troubleshoot server issues for build performance. Experience with Scripting language (Python/Perl/Ruby)Knowledge of SQL. Advantage if experience with TibCo Rendevous communication with deployment tools such as BladeLogic. Knowledge on view, branch (stream), config-spec, baseline in Config. Management tool. Perform check build, take necessary action. Ability to learn integrating configuring 3rd party tools used for CM related purpose. Experience release eg steps to perform pre post build. Experience in automated build deployment to test environments. Evaluation of new tool (/or version of a tool).

Desirables;
Knowledge of the capital markets industry. Experience in JIRA ( Issue Management tool).

Role;
Take an active part in the Software Configuration Management of the Fixed Income's Electronic Markets Application development Maintenance Programme. Your purpose will be to support the Configuration Data Management by establishing maintaining the integrity of work products using configuration identification, configuration control, configuration audits. Having experience in software development .net/Java will be essential.

This can be in C#, Java, C++ or similar. The remit will also be to ensure that the pre-production environments are fit for Global use on a day to day basis.

This will include reviewing the London environments ensuring that there is sufficient documentation to support the applications running in these environments. The role will also involve some resilience capacity planning to ensure our production environments are sufficient for the various applications being used developed to provide a link between application development infrastructure support teams.
