Zywave, Inc., a cutting edge technology products and services company, is seeking a Software Consultant to act as a Zywave advisor, resource coordinator and/or change agent in order to increase engagement, use and reliance on the Zywave software. The Software Consultant is a proactive business advisory role serving Zywave’s broker clients seeking to maximize the capabilities of their Zywave applications.
Zywave’s web-based technology solutions allow employee benefits and property and casualty insurance brokers to differentiate themselves from their competition. To date, our Broker Partner Network consists of over 800 partners and is growing rapidly. We are an agile team dedicated to constantly widening our horizons and mastering new technologies to continuously position our products ahead of any competition.
Software Consultant Essential Functions:
· Consultant: Review customer’s processes and related product utilization, creating relevant and impactful action plans as needed. Make proactive outreach to market the appropriate features or content that they can use to earn more business, create efficiency or any other desired benefit.
· Resource coordinator: Act as a liaison between the customer and all other resources at Zywave. Promote Zywave professional service offerings, such as product training, as well as personally announce new software products or version releases.
· Change agent:Discuss current workflows with customer personnel, promoting new and better ways to accomplish a task or goal using their Zywave applications. Attend client meetings, seminars or other Zywave-related business events.
· Support organizational goals to achieve customer retention rates and product utilization metrics set forth.
Other Functions:
· Research and document account information on the Web or in salesforce.comor related systems.
· Study competitor information and complete general sales or customer support projects as needed.
· To make Zywave the best in our business.
Skills/Requirements:
· College degree in Business, Communications or related discipline plus 3-5 years of related experience and/or equivalent combination.
· Demonstrated communications skills in influencing others, group facilitation and client interfacing both in person and remote. Sincere dedication to help the customer achieve business goals and objectives.
· Strong sales and service orientation and able to build trusting relationships with customers in many roles and at all levels of the organization. Comfortable working on high-profile assignments as well as behind-the-scenes administrative projects.
· Other desirable qualities include: motivated by results, strong organizational skills, comfortable working in a fast paced environment, consistently practices active listening, and ability to work independently and within groups, comfortable dealing with adversity and ambiguity.
· Knowledge of group insurance/administration and either health benefits or property casualty/risk management helpful.
· Technical aptitude or the ability to pick up technical and business information quickly.
· Must have personal credit card for travel expenses.
