SOFTWARE DESIGNER, SD 3/12, NICOSIA-CYPRUS

 

Company Description:

 

On behalf of our Client, Software Company, we are seeking to employ a professional individual for the position of Software Designer, for their offices in Nicosia.

 

Job Duties:

 

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the right incumbent’s responsibilities will concentrate on the redesign and maintenance of graphical user interface of an existing software system. More specifically, he/she will be responsible for the design and documentation of UI guidelines as well as for the streamlining of software design processes. Furthermore, he/she will collaborate with the programming team and QA to release a commercial software product available for the market. Finally, the right incumbent will translate business requirements into software architecture tasks.

 

Qualifications:

 

·         University Degree in Information Technology or in a related field

·         A minimum of 10 years of working experience in development/web design

·         Previous experience in design and documentation of a successful commercial software product

·         Proven track records of graphical UI design, web design and graphic design

·         Proficiency in Net environment with focus on Visual Basic and Visual Studio 2010

·         Working knowledge of SQL, familiarity with MS SQL server or similar RDBS

·         Excellent knowledge of object orientated programming and familiarity with ODB

·         Good knowledge of agile programming procedures

·         Fluency in the English language both verbally and written
