Harrington Starr is working exclusively with a ForEx Trading Platform provider to find a Software Developer to join a team building highly scalable trading platform for trading entities and individuals around the world.
As the Software Developer you will be using your experience with highly scalable trading platforms to build a greenfield trading platform using multi-threaded coding. The main development language will be Ruby on Rails however it is more important to have the trading platform expertise to guide the greenfield projects from research design stage through to implementation. You will be working closely with the CTO and other development team members in an agile environment to provide innovative solutions. You will be given the cross training on Ruby for the position.
Key requirements:
* Trading Platform Development Experience (Essential)
* Multithreaded development experience (Essential)
* Ruby on Rails, Java, C++, C# or any other Development Language experience (Beneficial)
* Full project life cycle development experience (Beneficial)
* FX or Derivatives knowledge (Beneficial)
* Strong interpersonal skills and mentoring ability (Beneficial)
