Software Developer

Our clients, an electronics firm in Dublin 24, are looking to recruit an experienced Software Developer with strong C# and SQL skills.

The role will involve:

·         The software group in RD writes applications which interact remotely with electronic systems and other PCB devices via a proprietary protocol.

·         Candidate will be involved in the coding and future design of these applications (both web and windows based).

·         Also scope for writing test applications for firmware developed in house.

·         Will be working directly with firmware developers.

The Candidate should have:

·         Must be experienced in C# and ideally have a working knowledge of SQLce.

·         Should be dynamic and flexible and be able to work to deadlines.

·         Some experience of VB6 would be beneficial though not strictly required.

·         Must be able to code modularly and have experience working on large applications with others.

·         Knowledge of source protection/sharing is essential.

·         The candidate should possess a practised working knowledge of the principles of object orientated programming in the dotNet environment.

·         Must have experience working with XML. A demonstrable knowledge of XAML is also required.

·         The applicant should be familiar with managed and thread safe coding practices.
