Excellent candidates for our Krakow team will be highly motivated, well rounded self-starters with an ability to learn quickly and thrive in a team environment. Their track record will demonstrate drive, determination, and academic/professional accomplishment throughout their lives. They will have a passion for developing high quality software and therefore have strong technical and logical thinking skills. Good written and verbal English communication skills are essential, as developers must interact with other team members in various groups. Excellent object-oriented programming skills, problem solving abilities and attention to detail are also a must.
Developers work on diverse projects and carry different responsibilities. Here are some examples of the skill sets and experience required.
Responsibilities
- Support and re-factor existing applications
- Architect, design, and implement new software using .NET technologies
- Maintain web, windows, and server applications that present data and deliver processing and analytical capabilities to our clients
- Create automated tests as part of test driven development methodology
- Manage and/or participate in multiple high priority projects simultaneously and interact with your peers to make the best technical decisions
Minimum Technical Skills
- Experience in n-tiered development
- Comprehensive understanding and usage of Microsoft Technologies
- Comprehensive understanding of programming techniques and practices
- A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures and software design
- Extensive experience with an object oriented design and language, such as C#, C++ or Java
- Experience in developing stored procedures, T-SQL development, and schema design
Preferred Experience / Interests
- Experience with .NET Framework 4.0
- Experience with web development using MVC 3 and jQuery
- Development experience in an Agile (Scrum) environment
- Experience of refactoring legacy applications
Additional Beneficial Skills
- Reuters RMDS, Bloomberg API
- RabbitMQ, Memcache
- Cloud computing frameworks like EC2 or Rackspace
- Financial Products Markup Language (FpML)
- Straight-Through-Processing (STP) using SwapsWire, the Depository Trust Clearing Corporation (DTCC), FXAll or SWIFT
- Financial Reporting
- Exposure to accounting or accounting systems
Training Requirements
The successful candidate will be willing to travel to the U.S. for a period of initial training with our software development team based in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania.

Developers in our Krakow Office work very closely with team members from the U.S.
