About Us:

Utilitec, an Ancor Company, is the premier outsource provider of utility statement services in the U.S. (headquartered in Troy, MI).  We develop windows and web-based, client-facing applications, as well as back-office production systems for cooperative, municipal and investor-owned utilities nationwide.  We provide comprehensive and customer friendly solutions for print, mail, and electronic statement processing.

About the Job:

The ideal candidate will have solid experience building solutions in a production environment. This person will be part of a team that is tasked with developing Utilitec products using the latest Microsoft technologies. This individual must be able to handle a number of simultaneous projects, and have the ability to push the projects to completion.

Responsibilities:

·         Design, develop, test and maintain web applications using databases and web services

·         Design, develop, test and maintain back office applications used in document composition

·         Strong initiative and attention to detail

·         The ability to collaborate with internal and external customers

Requirements:

·         Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related technical field (or equivalent experience)

·         1+ year of application development experience using Microsoft technologies, including coding, and testing.

·         Development experience with Web Page development, ideally with ASP, or ASP.Net technologies

·         Familiarity with Net Framework (2.0, 3.0, and 3.5)

·         Familiarity with SQL Server including T-SQL, and Stored Procedures

·         Effectively documents code and uses practices such as Unit Testing and Source Control

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer.
