The Staples team is looking for a Principal Developer to be part of one of the most successful e-Commerce sites in the world. This outstanding individual will work with both the business and technical teams to innovate and deliver new features and enhancements for Staples. Primary Responsibilities: - Act as an application lead for the Staples portfolio - Advise business and IS teams on how to implement desired technology features that help innovate the site and positively differentiate Staples in the market - Act as a technical lead for Staples projects, working with the business, IT, and QA partners to identify solutions, contributing to overall design, proof of concept development, technical strategy, coordinating with external teams and vendors, and mentoring junior developers - Design and develop new functionality for the Staples website that is reliable, maintainable, and scalable - Actively participate in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle including define, design, development, test, deployment, and support and maintenance of th
