Software Developer/Consultant (Java) Job in Newton-Le-Willows, North West UK
We are currently looking to recruit for our client, based in Newton-Le-Willows, to join their technical consultancy / development team. The Consultancy Team is responsible for delivering end-to-end mobile solutions on Windows Mobile and soon iPhone and Android for high profile customers.
This role will offer the opportunity to join very skilled and established technical team. For this role it is desirable that you have some commercial experience on top of any academic background although I would be looking to talk to any graduates who have a good background behind them. My client have an outstanding track record of developing raw talent and, as you will have to be proficient with many different languages once up to speed on this role, you will be given a lot of training to bring you up to their high standards.
You will hold either a first class or 2.1 degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Computing (or related degree) and will ideally you will have some commercial experience although recent graduates will be considered.
For this role you must have good Java knowledge and another language too, ideally.

• A good degree 2:1 or above in Computer Science or Computing (or equivalent)

• At least one other programming language to a high level of ability
• A solid interest in software technology and mobile computing
