The Role:
Based in Surrey, this world leading global business services company requires a Software Development Director (due to internal movement), who will be responsible for the delivery and availability of projects to meet Business and IT requirements.
A delivery focused role, main duties involve working with both the Business and IT to agree strategy, delivering continual business improvement while maintaining high availability of business systems to both internal staff and external clients.
Ideally, they are looking for you to have proven bespoke business systems and software delivery experience; management experience in a Microsoft based environment; responsibility for teams creating, testing and packaging their own code through the entire release cycle.
Skills:
- Commercial management experience running projects covering the following technical environment: Microsoft .Net Framework, C#, ASP.Net, Active Directory, Microsoft Windows, IIS, SQL Server
- Management experience of managing teams of up to 20 people spread across Business Analysis (BA's), Developers and Testers.
- Experience of working with structured development methods: Agile, UML, RUP
- Degree educated
