The Bing Whole Page Relevance team is part of Microsoft's Online Services RD organization. We are responsible for predicting the relevance of different types of search results (e.g., web documents, ads, images, videos, maps, social) and then optimizing page layout using this information. Responsibilities: Independently designing, implementing, and shipping major search features Analyzing terabytes of data to find patterns of interest Developing offline tools for data collection and analysis Collaborating with the other engineering and scientific teams to innovate and improve the Bing user experience Requirements: B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience 4+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in C or C++ Great design, problem solving, and coding skills with a strong bias for quality Familiarity with large-scale online systems, machine-learning, information retrieval, or web search is preferred O:BING BINGND XBNGXDV:NIDR*LI
