About the Job
Software Development Manager is required by a global financial services firm at the forefront of technical innovation.
This role (Mobile Development VP) is based within the Mobile Banking , and the successful candidate will be engaged on innovation, framework and mainstream development projects.
The Mobile Development VP role is an integral part of this team and the successful individual will be charged with bringing ideas from inception to market across a range of domains.
Ideally the successful candidate will come from a mixed technology and business background and will be able to conceive and develop new ideas and give form to these ideas through the developments of prototypes which will enable our client to test concepts with prospective clients in advance of proceeding to market launch.
THE PERSON
- Both a technical expert coupled with an innovative mindset.
- Industry experience in a number of professions including Finance, Ecommerce,Epayments or similar
- Strong prototyping experience.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- 2 or more of: Java, Javascript, C++, C#, C, Android, Ruby or HTML 5
- Experience with SOA and SAAS an advantage
- Agile development process advantageous
LEADERSHIP
- the ability to grow lead a mobile software development team.
- Manage business relationships with senior business leaders
- Experienced manager with a track-record of managing projects on time within budget.
