Software Engineer (Core Java J2SE), Permanent Banking, Zürich, Switzerland recruitment
In this interesting permanent position you will be able to contribute to a new strategic project within the Bank and be part of a very dynamic core SCRUM team working on high volume, transaction based systems. You will be an extremely technical programmer and if more senior, help coaching junior developers. Furthermore you will be working with IT development, IT integration and Operations teams, defining interfaces, messages and processes as required.
Successful candidates will be hands-on and ambitious software engineers in either junior or senior stages of their career, and possess the following skills and attributes:
- Degree in Engineering, Science or Maths
- Minimum 5 years experience in software development
- 10 years experience to be considered for a more senior role
- 3 to 5 years experience in a non-J2EE environment
- Strong OOA/OOD skills
- Experience in TDD/BDD
- Good knowledge of Unix
As you will be working in an international and hence English speaking environment, solid English skills both written and oral are mandatory.
