Raytheon Intelligence and Information Systems, located in Garland, Texas is looking for a candidate to join our world-class engineering team as an entry level Software Engineer. As a candidate for this opportunity you should have a good foundation in one or more software development languages (preferably C++ or Java) and be able to use various software tools on HP or SUN workstations in a UNIX or LINUX environment, as well as, applications on Windows. The candidate should have a fundamental understanding of basic software principles, theories, and concepts related to software engineering (including software development lifecycle and software development process) and Object Oriented analysis, design, and programming.

This position requires the ability to obtain a government security clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Security clearance factors include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the US, foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and drug involvement.
