Looking for a software engineer to work in the Electronic Trading System's production support team, to provide development support of various systems on the Globex platform, which includes order entry, routing, match engine, market data distribution, and surveillance, etc. The person will be working on a team of very talented developers to analyze production issues, develop bug fixes and feature enhancements for these real time mission critical applications. The candidate needs to have a solid background in object oriented design, knowledge of multi-thread programming techniques, and a desire to learn and make improvements in existing applications or processes.
Required Skills: BA/BS degree in Computer Science, good communication skills, strong troubleshooting and analysis skills, proficiency in either Java or C++, and experience in the Unix/Linux operating system.
Preferred Skills: Experience with Spring framework.
