Northrop Grumman is actively seeking a Software Engineer IV that will be responsible for developing software, as part of a team, on an agile development project, will work with the team and Government leads to review backlogs for sprint planning; represent the team to external organizations at meetings, briefings, and demonstrations; perform design, implementation, unit, level testing, documentation and integration support of visualizations as defined; implements changes to code, scripts, and configurations for new development, bug fixes, enhancements and installations using best practices; utilize COTS/GOTS as alternatives to coding from ground up; and ensures all documentation is produced in accordance with NSAWAY standards.  Capable of working is a fast passed, agile environment

Basic Qualifications:


Required Skills Experience:
§  Minimum fifteen years in a technical role, working on software intensive projects and programs for Government or Industry customers, of which:
o   Ten years experience as a Software Engineer supporting software architecture development, requirements analysis, process execution and evaluation, selection and evaluation of COTS/GOTS tools, and integration (with both new and legacy systems)
o   Five years experience in some applicable programming language such as the following:
JAVA, JMS, JMX
Web Services:RESTful services. XML, SOAP (WSDL), AXIS2.0
UNIX scripting languages
Tomcat
JBoss
Spring
Flex
AJAX
Eclipse IDE
XML Schema (XSD)
Hudson
Nexus/Maven
Subversion
Trac
 
Education:  Bachelor’s Degree in Communications Engineering, computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics or similar degree and meet the experience requirement or equivalent documented combination of training and experience.
 
Six years over the required years experience may substitute for the BS requirement.  Certifications and AA degrees count as 1 year experience each.
 
Security: Required – TS/SCI with polygraph
