Job Description:
All qualified candidates MUST have teh following:
1. 4 plus years experience in the software development with VM Ware, Oracle, Linux, Windows, etc.
2. 4 plus years experience with various programming languages such as: Java, .Net, API development practices, Virtual Machine technology and Oracle administration. Other languages are acceptable as well.
3. Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communications with a high level of business acumen.
4. Must be able to travel domestically and internationally 60% of the time.
5. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computer Information Systems.

Not required but would be a plus:
1. Security systems integration experience.

Provides pre-and/or post sales technical product advice for the development and implementation of customer solutions. Participates in the preparation and presentation of technical proposals, including product demonstrations and product prototypes. Participates in the preparation and presentation of customer needs plan to company teams to assure complete plan is feasible within cost, time, and environment constraints. Responsible for the creation and review of technical proposals/solutions to regions based on complex technical requirements for various projects that involve the Siveillance Software Portfolio. Resolves semi-complex technical problems. Interact with sales outlets, consulting engineers and licensed end users to review current and determine future applications standards. Support all business development, product development and sales activities with respect to product and systems functionality. May provide installation support and post-sales consulting. Provides follow-up support in disseminating semi-complex technical information on specific applications. Designs, plans, and handles start-up functions on Siemens Siveillance systems based on project plans, specifications, and contract documents. Attends pre-booking meetings to gain knowledge of the sales estimate and project scope. Analyzes plans, specifications, and contract to determine project requirements. Creates and maintains current design documents throughout project duration. Supports customers with selection of products, types, and location placement to ensure products meet specification requirements. Establishes special calibration and calibration instructions on selected equipment. Prepares and conducts Technical Support project turn-over. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all company products, industry codes and standards as well as all software developments. Assist in the simulation, testing and diagnosis of reported field problems. Make site visits as necessary to analyze field problems/application issues and assist in their resolution.
