Our Client is seeking a Software Engineer working with customers other developers to develop and implement business applications supporting initiatives primarily in C# and T-SQL. The work location is in Manassas, VA.

Responsibilities:

This includes working with customers and other developers to gather requirements and utilize technical specifications to provide enhancements and new development to an existing suite of applications, while adhering to standards and guidelines. The candidate should have a solid understanding of object oriented programming and programming principles, experience developing database-centric applications with .NET and Microsoft SQL Server, experience debugging and analyzing code, and working with team members to ensure a high quality product.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen

  • Bachelor’s Degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or computer engineering, or equivalent experience

  • 4+ years developing database-centric applications (Windows and web-based)

  • Experience with the following technologies:

  • C# (.NET 4.0)

  • T-SQL

  • Web Services

  • HTML/XML/XSLT/CSS/etc.

  • AJAX

  • Experience designing and writing applications that interact with databases

  • Willingness and ability to learn new products and technologies quickly

  • Attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Excellent problem solving skills

  • WFC, WF knowledge and experience

  • Crystal Reports experience
