Software Engineer Job in Moffett Field 94035, California US
The candidate is expected top acquire knowledge of existing software and support re-factoring as needed to meet evolving design decisions. Establish software development processes and ensure they are followed by the team. Participate in requirements, architecture, design and code reviews. Support the requirements management process including requirements elicitation, definition, tracing, change management and verification. Work with a cross functional team in engineering, QA and operations to ensure proper interoperability and functionality of multiple subsystems and the smooth transition through different phases of the project.
Required Skills:
3+ years’ experience in software development applications and processes
- Excellent programming, testing, trouble shooting, documentation and software organization skills
• Experience with using C and C++, Configuration Management tools (e.g., SVN or CVS), Bug tracking tools (e.g., Bugzilla, Jira) and GUI development and relational databases
