Position: Software Engineer
EVault- A Seagate Company, a fast-growing company and an industry leader in network-based data backup and recovery solutions has an immediate need within its Web Services team in Oakville (Winston Churchill and Dundas), Ontario, for a Software Engineer. Mandatory Skills:
- A Computer Science degree or equivalent required
- 3+ years of experience in software development
- ASP.NET MVC 3/2
- C#, MVC, WCF
- SQL Server
- Front End development skills (Javascript, jQuery, Ajax, CSS)
- Web Services, XML, SOAP, SAML
- Understanding of ASP.NET MVC Framework
- Understanding of Design Patterns and Object Oriented Programming
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high energy environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop good working relationships with others
What you'll be doing:
- Design and Develop a SaaS web site using C#.NET, MVC3/Razor
- Scrum Development Process
- Participate in project sprint planning, execution, testing and releases on Scrum methodology;
- Take direction and follow design patterns recommended by Lead/Architect
