IT Software Engineer, .Net, Manchester
Our client is one of the UK's largest organisations. Due to expansion they are now looking to take on an IT Software Engineer with at least two years' commercial experience.
The Role
- The role will require the individual to work on small, medium and large sized system development and enhancements across a wide variety of businesses and operational systems.
- Effectively work with key stakeholders, peers and colleagues from project inception through to delivery support and maintenance.
- Identify and advise on strategies for efficient development of technology solutions..
The Individual
- Minimum 2 years' experience in software engineering/.Net Software Development
- Familiarisation with the software lifecycle, estimation, design, implementation, integration, test and acceptance.
- Knowledge of current computer hardware and software (Oracle, SQL).
- Good numerate degree (e.g. Software Engineering or Computer Science) or equivalent experience.
- Experience in applied use of Patters-based, Object-Oriented (OO), Component-Based (CBD) and Service Printed Architecture (SOA)
- Good communication skills.
- Some category of engineering qualification.
