Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for an Software Engineer- OOM/UML on a 1 year contract opportunity with a leading company in Waukesha, WI.

In this position candidates will be working closely with cross-functional engineering teams in requirements gathering, design, implementation, integration and verification of key host subsystem software components/areas.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field REQUIRED.

Specific Experience:

  • 2 - 3 years of industry experience developing software for complex systems or computerized devices.

  • Experience in object oriented methodologies (OOA/OOD/OOP), unified modeling language (UML) and various programming languages, including 2+ years of development in C++ and Java.

  • Experience of product development for medical device industry, practical knowledge of software development cycle and experience with automated testing tools.

  • Experience in software development for Linux platform.

  • Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle - using waterfall or iterative software development methodologies.

    • **This is a W2 contract only- we are unable to work C2C, 1099 or transfer visas.**
