Software Engineer recruitment
Overview
CA CIB is looking for a Software Engineer to gain knowledge and participate in the development and support of CA-CIB International (SWIFT) Domestic Payments and Real Time Position applications.
These applications are multi programming languages written in Java, C, SQL and PL/SQL. The programs run with web applications under Websphere and with UNIX shell scripts.
Responsibilities
• Analyze functional specifications for the development
• Make design, coding, testing technical documentation related to development
• Deliver the developed programs for integration according to delivery process
• Analyze and/or solve problems inquiries escalated to the team
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for project team and client deliverables
• Level 2 and 3 support of these 3 applications
Requirements
Mandatory:
• At least a related degree/diploma holder
• Excellent understanding of Java/JEE
• Excellent understanding of JavaScript
• Excellent understanding of C on Unix environment
• Good understanding of Relational Database and Hibernate
• Good working knowledge on Unix shell scripting
• Good working knowledge on Cobol on Unix environment
• Practical knowledge on SVN
• Practical knowledge on AJAX
• Practical knowledge on Websphere Application Server
• Practical knowledge on modern IDE such as Eclipse
• Posses strong analysis and problem solving skills
• Posses strong communication skills in English
Optional:
• Having functional knowledge on banking industry will be an advantage (in particular on payments and cash management)
• French speaking capability is an advantage
