We are seeking a Software Engineer with excellent programming skills and experience with systems and application development on the Windows and/or Linux platforms. The successful candidate will be a key contributor and will work with a team to design, develop, and integrate new features and products for the Fiery division and to maintain and enhance existing code. He/she will co-ordinate with other engineering groups at EFI to ensure that the features integrate and work properly with other EFI software components to deliver exceptional products to our OEM partners. The candidate must be familiar with modern design techniques and development practices including modular design, software re-use and techniques for writing robust, high performance and extensible code. Job Requirements:
- Ability to execute all major software product development lifecycle functions including requirements definition, design, implementation and unit testing.
- Strong Design skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated experience in systems development using C/C++
- Experience with large complex bodies of code
- Identify, evaluate and apply new technologies for implementation
- Strong debugging skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to multi-task efficiently
- Highly motivated and self-driven to help EFI deliver exceptional products to our OEM partners.
