Our client - a leading software solutions vendor - is looking for a highly skilled Software Engineering Manager who can manage a high-performing team of Software Engineers. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will be responsible for team management, project management, following SCRUM methodology, architecture, design, and implementing best practices. 
 
To qualify for this role you will ideally have:  
  

• Strong experience as a Software Engineering Manager/Development Manager - ideally in a product-driven or RD environment  
• Experience in C/C++ and Linux environments  
• Experience managing a team of approximately 10 Software Engineers  
• Strong experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies  
• Experience with TDD, unit-testing, continuous integration, etc.  
• Understanding of best practices and process improvement  
• Exposure to networking applications will be an advantage  
• Appreciation of design and architecture  
• Good motivator - shows initiative, leads by example, and is able to instil a positive working culture
