Established in 1983, Axiom Business Systems is a software implementation company, focused on providing the Charon Cemetery Management solution to the North American cemetery market. An opportunity exists for an experienced Implementation Specialist to join this exciting company, as a Software Implementation Consultant.
Job Description
The Axiom Implementation Specialist will be responsible for helping manage customers in the post-sale and implementation environments. This position will be responsible for providing consulting and implementation services to both new and existing Axiom customers. Working alongside a Project Manager, this position will quickly assess customer needs, develop innovative plans to solve complex business workflow, and implement these plans in the Charon software environment. These objectives will have a focus on ensuring new projects are implemented in a timely efficient manner and existing customers are optimized in their use of the Charon software application. This position is full-time.
The successful applicant must have solid accounting skills combined with outstanding interpersonal skills as you will be the company representative on site. You will work to a defined implementation process, be flexible, team focused and accept the challenges of changing workloads and priorities.
Specific application training will be provided as well as a supportive team environment. Salary package commensurate with skills and experience.
The successful candidate must have a passion for business and the technologies that run it, as well as advanced analytical problem-solving acumen. Working with timelines and a full customer portfolio in a multi-project environment is required.
Responsibilities:
· Liaison with the client to identify and agree detailed plans and budgets to ensure hassle free implementations
· Review and improve current business processes in the client’s organization
· Project manage, train and implement software applications
· Provide technical support and training to the client
· Testing of software to ensure the system delivers the required functionality
· Post implementation reviews
Qualifications/Skills:
· The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years experience in systems applications consulting with a consulting firm or software provider. In addition, this candidate should have solid experience in change management and business process mapping in support, preferably in Accounting based implementations.
· Excellent understanding of common industry standard business practices as related to Accounting (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Invoicing), Customer Relationship Management (Opportunity, Proposal, Sales Orders and Forecasting), Inventory Management (Purchasing and Fulfilment).
· Successful candidates should have demonstrated experience in translating customer business requirements into workable world-class business solutions; either as a software solution or a re-engineering initiative.
· Candidates should have excellent customer relationship skills and experienced consulting skills to work with customers on execution of ongoing projects.
· The ideal candidate will possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills including past experience documenting customer requirements.
· Represent Axiom in a professional manner to clients, prospects, business partners, employees and the broader business community
· Sage Pro ERP and/or Sage ERP ACCPAC implementation experience preferred, other accounting package implementation experience will be strongly considered.
· Exposure to MapInfo Professional highly regarded
