CDI is seeking a skilled Software Packager- Wise to work a long term W2 contract opportunity with one of our clients in Minneapolis, MN
Position Description: Create Windows 7 software packages . Packages will be distributed via SCCM. Coordinate package testing after build. Debug problems with packaging, working with vendors and other resources as required. Record results of packaging in Remedy.
Project description: Customer is moving from Windows XP to Windows 7 and will be re-packaging all Windows software for the OS upgrade. This effort will include some evaluation of current XP software with Win7, building packages for Win7, testing packages and working with vendors as needed to debug problems.
Required skills: "Need strong understanding of Microsoft XP and Microsoft Win7. Experience in software packaging is a must. Prefer packaging experience for a large company. Preferred experience with migrating to a new OS with a group of packages. Experience with Symantec Wise Package Studio a plus. "
