Software Process Improvement Engineer
Medical Device company in Irvine, CA (Orange County) is currently seeking Software Process Improvement candidates to work on a year contract.
Overall Summary: The goal and responsibilities are to create a best practices approach. The contractor will determine how software projects implement processes such as requirements definition, bug tracking and design reviews.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Analysis of software project implementation processes including requirements definition, bug tracking, and design reviews
• Interviewing and reviewing artifacts
Minimum Qualifications:
• 2 years experience with LEAN techniques (stream mapping) to determine waste and inefficiencies
• Subject Matter Expert with audits and/or with processes that were subject to audit
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle in a regulated industry, exposed to a variety of software development stages a must
• 5 years experience with C++ and C#
• LEAN principles, software process improvement preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
• Regulatory Affairs with Software experience
• Software Process Engineering
• Software Quality Assurance
• Lean Engineering with Software experience
