Overview:
The TCGRx software development team is a dynamic and fast paced organization working on the latest technologies. The products we make leverage a combination of software and physical devices to deliver and manage pharmaceutical products in pharmacies throughout the world. We are looking for an experienced Software Quality Assurance Analyst to join our growing team as a software testing specialist.
Working under minimal direction and supervision of a team lead or manager, the Software Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for the design, development and execution of software test cases. The Software Quality Assurance tester will ensure that all code produced is error free and meets the end user requirements through thorough system and integration testing. Participates in design and code reviews as well as professional development education sessions.
Specific Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Gather and understand end user business requirements
• Design and develop software test cases
• Prepare documentation to record the testing activity
• Develops reports on testing activity
• Works closely with the developers to troubleshoot and reproduce bugs
• Collaborate with Software Engineers and other QA team members on development projects
• Focus on products and applications designed to automate and track the dispensing of pharmaceutical products
• Work as, as needed, on multiple TCGRx products
• Develops test cases in line with company and industry best practices
• Develops automated test scripts to speed up testing throughput
Requirements:
• Must have a minimum of 2 years testing software
• Experience testing both client/server and web based applications strongly desired
• Experience with software that integrates and controls physical hardware devices strongly desired
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• Healthcare or regulated industry experience a strong plus
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server database a strong plus
• Experience with automated testing tools a strong plus
• Must be a strong team player
