- Coordinating:
- Definition and maintenance of IT procedures used for migrating changes among software environments as well as controlling software, systems, infrastructure, and documentation, using IT best practices
- Best practices and procedures used for software and hardware architecture changes
- Use of the PLM system for configuration management
- Process definition for recording changes made to the software and hardware environments and the relationships between them
- Management and maintenance of software and hardware components for validated and non-validated systems throughout their lifecycle
- Ensuring that established change-control processes are followed in compliance with internal and external requirements
- Facilitating process integration with Software Quality Assurance team members
- Monitoring key IT process metrics and recommending process improvements
- Reviewing change requests for technical problems or issues
- Supporting IT root-cause and impact analysis investigation(s) and associated documentation
- Working closely with:
- IT associates to help ensure good communication/coordination of activities with our end-user community, divisional/regional IT leadership, functional experts and super users, and other IT support teams, including infrastructure, applications, and end-user services teams
- IT projects regarding testing strategies and test plans while leveraging testing tools
- Participating in requirements gathering/reviews
- Designing, developing, and producing manuals and documentation to support ongoing process-improvement efforts, including related changes and/or customization of technology
- Designing, developing, and executing manual and automated test plans
- Developing and managing:
- Testing tools and procedures
- A bug-tracking tool
- Establishing and administering software-development standards and code-review practices
- Bachelor's degree
- Three years of relevant technical work experience, including direct experience with development of system development life cycle (SDLC) standards, version control/code management tools, and IT procedures
- Experience leading large business system updates and changes
- Two years of change-management experience
- Knowledge of configuration management
