Position Summary:
This key position requires an individual who has software industry sales experience. This leadership role, which reports to the CEO, works closely with our internal software development team and CareersUSA's field representatives.
The Primary Responsibility of this position will be to organize, manage, market and grow web-based ASP software solutions, including PerfectTIME to top tier customers in varying industries. The Software Sales Director will be the driving force behind the overall success of this department.
The Software Sales Director will define the GTM strategy for PerfectTIME's development offerings to a horizontal market. He or she will bring a deep understanding of workforce management best practices and how PerfectTIME and its related software solutions can solve our customers' most complex time and attendance related problems.
The role requires a solid understanding of PerfectTIME's technology, competitive positioning, pricing and experience in the sale of complex and strategic information technology projects for large customers.
This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic service line extension at the ground level.
Job Description:
- Establishes best practices including pricing, marketing material, billing, contracts, services and customer relations.
- Prospects, identifies and sources customers from CareersUSA ecosystem to identify custom solutions.
- Works with customer to identify custom-developed solution. May establish discovery sessions (including blueprint, focus groups, etc.) with customer to outline or highlight the opportunity for customer to benefit from custom development.
- Develops and implements operational strategies that enable the company to achieve its corporate objectives.
- Provides direction to the internal development team regarding customer requirement / business process optimization from design and build of the solution through installation and subsequent success.
- Provides clients with a single point of contact for development services, including consulting, education, support and business consulting.
- Act as a liaison between our customers and our internal team to ensure successful development and implementation of the PerfectTIME solution.
- Drive day-to-day operational excellence, ongoing improvement initiatives and foster an environment of teamwork, support, learning and career growth.
- Solicit and implement new ideas to facilitate continuous improvement of operational excellence.
- Conduct ongoing needs assessment, identification of issues/opportunities and implementation of corresponding actions.
- Effectively convert strategies into specific actions, make decisions and communicate priorities.
- Develops GTM strategy.
- Develops account activation, service and closing plans.
- Provides clients with a link between their key strategies, objectives and problems and PerfectTIME and other related solutions.
- Capable of 'blueprinting' customer needs and determining the appropriate solution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or Computer Science required. MBA or master's degree in related discipline helpful.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in software sales, delivery and servicing, and operations.
- Proven track record of uncovering, evaluating and closing large sales opportunities.
- Ability to manage a large number of accounts and sales opportunities simultaneously with proven results.
- Experience formulating formal proposal responses.
- Familiarity with contracts, licensing and pricing.
- Ability to negotiate profitable terms and conditions.
- Outstanding time management and organization skills.
- Strong communication, business writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to self-motivate and earn support from a diverse corporation.
- Strong inter-personal, communication and management capabilities.
