Software Sales Rep

We are the leading provider of accounting software for school construction in California. We are seeking a highly motivated Software Sales Representative to sell our software products and services to school districts in California. As the leader in our marketplace, we boast an extremely high customer retention rate and have very little head-to-head competition. This is a great opportunity for professionals with a proven sales background to pursue new opportunities and flourish in a dynamic, competitive sales environment.

As our Software Sales Representative you will employ a consultative sales process while seeking out new business, maintain existing relationships to continue recurring revenue, and work directly with decision makers to determine and meet their needs. With our in-house training program you will be positioned for success and consistently able to meet and exceed goals.

You will have the opportunity to earn $125,000, or more, between base pay and un-capped commissions.

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
» Make or exceed your sales target
» Drive the entire sales cycle from lead generation to sales close
» Generate new business by prospecting and following up on leads provided by marketing
» Work in a team sales environment
» Actively participate in at least 2 - 3 trade associations
» Travel within the state of California to attend tradeshows, conduct software demos, and meet with current and future clients


Requirements:

» Track record in closing new business and exceeding sales targets
» Bachelor’s degree
» Minimum of 3 years of strategic sales experience (including cold calling)
» Proven ability to push past rejection and achieve results
» Strong verbal and written communication skills
» Ability to build and deliver powerful presentations and product demonstrations
» Experience selling accounting or construction related software
» Experience calling on government, preferably school districts
