Position Overview:

As a Service Software Manager, you will manage the service software product development projects. Leveraging your deep IT and remote service expertise and knowledge of best practices within a Service organization, you will drive the development of service software products aligned with our corporate strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Focusing on new service product development, you will drive Welch Allyn's transformation from a reactive service model to a proactive/predictive service environment.

Working with our Service Tools and Systems and Device Dashboard, you will enable Welch Allyn to connect with customers through cloud computing to provide service updates and monitor customer systems.

You will manage outside development work from partners ensuring successful completion of projects. Leading a cross functional team, you will ensure stakeholder alignment, establish and meet project milestones, identify conflicts or issues and develop solutions related to resources, scope, and schedule for the service software projects.

You will serve as a technical consultant on an advanced strategy and technical level for other departments. Your understanding of project management principles enables you to build a solid project plan with a firm foundation to iterate from, identify priority issues, and effectively mitigate risk with cross functional teams comprised of Engineering, Test, Quality, Regulatory, Marketing, Service, Customer Care, Technical Publications, Sourcing, Finance, and Legal.

Required Background:

You have deep IT and remote service experience and knowledge of best practices with a customer focused organization, and a successful track record of remote service project implementation. You have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, and at least 6 years in IT, preferably in the medical field. Your database knowledge (SQL, Oracle), SAP and CRM experience, and cloud computing experience are desired.
