They are a dominant bank with an extensive global network, with more than 500 branches across 15 countries, with a clear roadmap for strategic expansion.
Due to strategic repositioning within the bank’s Technology Architecture team, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Solution Architect. Joining a multi-talented, international team, this is a role that will face off to, and impact, all business areas of the bank.
The main deliverables of this role will be to drive the end-to-end delivery of architectural solutions for the various business areas, and shape the IT architectural roadmap of the organisation. The incumbent will face off to business stakeholders to analyse gaps between existing and target business architecture, propose how to address them, coordinate efforts and timelines of project teams, and review application designs.
To be considered for this position, you require a solid foundation in application development and architecture. You need to have managed projects, and have skills in coordinating work efforts and timelines of large projects. It is essential that you have extensive exposure to applications in various banking business areas (e.g. Core Banking, Corporate Banking, Consumer Banking, Channels, Treasury, Audit) and have faced off to senior business stakeholders. It is mandatory that you possess exceptionally good English communication and documentation skills.
