*** CANDIDATE MUST ALREADY HAVE AN ACTIVE SECRET LEVEL SECURITY CLEARANCE *** JOB DESCRIPTION: Candidate is responsible for performing technical planning, embedded software development, systems integration, verification and validation, and supportability and effectiveness for a deployable software system. Software system development will includes: concept design, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Qualifications : Must have complete knowledge of software engineering and the ability to handle seldom and unusual occurring job events. Ability to complete complex assignments. Knowledge of the customer and customer mission needs is a plus. Must adhere to service policies and procedures and have good communication skills. Proficiency in the following technologies are required: * Substantial C/C++ development experience * Experience developing software for Linux platform using Linux-based IDEs * Experience developing kernel level drivers * Experience working with encryption algorithms and protocol * Experience developing software for secure network transfers TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in related technical discipline and 9+years experience. Advanced degree preferred.
