Technical Trainer - PowerPoint, Computer Based Training, eLearning, Flash, PowerPoint, MS Office
This is a temp to permanent opportunity!
Are you a senior level software Technical Trainer with at least 4 years experience in developing interactive instructor led training materials? If yes, read on!
What you will be doing:
* Responsible for the development, scheduling and delivery of training solutions for our software platform and related products.
* You will be working with our Documentation, Engineering and Client Services teams and providing training solutions for our internal staff and clients.
* You will be responsible for using training materials that you help develop in PowerPoint, Computer Based Training, eLearning, Hands on Labs and testing questions.
* You will help develop 'Train the Trainer' materials to be used as standard training docs for new trainers.
* You will be scheduling and conducting onsite and WebEx training sessions.
* You will manage new and existing training curriculum
* You will be responsible for maintaining and administering training records/database/LMS
* You will assist with software product demonstrations
Requirements:
* 3-5 years training experience both as a trainer and someone who has developed training solutions in a business setting
* Bachelor's degree in Information Design, Organizational Development or Communications required. Master's degree preferred.
* Must be able to understand technical concepts
* Must have experience with adult learning theory and practice, particularly training differing skill levels.
* Need to be confident in measuring learning success and adjust learning materials accordingly.
* Must have extensive background in communicating technical topics and concepts to end users.
* Must have experience using some of the following tools: Captivate, Camtasia, Flash, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office.
